A Quality and Access Team from the Ghana Education Service (GES) is expected to begin Monitoring visits to Basic and Second Cycle Schools throughout the country.
According to the Ghana Education Service, the planned visit is part of an on-going effort to improve learning outcomes in schools.
Focus of Visit
A letter signed by Dr. Kwabena BempahÂ Tandoh, the Deputy Director-General in Charge of Quality and Access, said the visit shall focus on interaction with both staff and students.
It additionally said there shall be a focus on the lesson observations, School Leadership Interviews as well as Assessment of Studentsâ€™ Performances.
The letter directed the Regional Directors of Education to inform Metro/Municipal and District Directors within their respective regions of the planned visits.
