The Ghana Education Service in a press released dated, 30th August has indicated that it has started work on the placement of students into the various Senior High Schools across the country.
GES Begins Students Placement into SHS, 2019
Having released the BECE result barely 24 hours ago, the GES said the release of the results means “The Computerized School Selection and Placement System (CSSSP) for 2019 has begun”.
The Ghana Education Service has assured that it is doing all within its powers to ensure a successful 2019 Computerized School Selection and Placement System (CSSSP) this year.
It also indicated that the Director-General of the Ghana Education Service will hopefully address the general public on 6th September 2019 during which it will among other things update the public with the steps the GES is taking on the placement of the students whose results have been released by the WAEC.
The management of the Ghana Education Service called on all students, parents, and the general public to remain calm after they access their results online whiles the GES works on the Computerized School Selection and Placement System (CSSSP).
It further promised to constantly update the general public with information.
In a related development, students, parents, and guardians have been flooding internet cafes since the result was released to check their results. There have been mixed feelings amongst students about their performance.
websaet.com sampled views from some students who checked their results today in East Legon. While the general feeling of many candidates was that they did well, some parents felt their wards performed below their expectations and intend to hide the results from neigbours.
The availability of result checkers on the open market this year is commendable however, many seem to be fake as the result checking portal kept rejecting them to the frustration of students. One can also buy such card from sellpincodes.com
