The Management of the National Teaching Council (NTC) has proactively postponed the conduct of the March 2020 GTLE from the initial date Saturday, June 20 to Sunday, June 21, 2020.
The Council in a release copied to Georgeweb.org indicated it had made changes in the conduct of the forthcoming March 2020 GTLE amid the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic which led to the postponement of the exams.
According to the National Teaching Council, all three papers shall be written on the day of the conduct of the examination which is Sunday, June 21, 2020.
NTC added that it had for some reasons make changes to some of the centres which were earlier chosen by candidates during the registration period.
Prior to the changes, the Council has assured to send details of the new centres to candidates via SMS, adding that Candidates may also confirm their centres on the NTC website www.ntc.gov.gh or the dailies from Monday, 15th June 2020
Since the coronavirus pandemic has not been brought under control, the Teaching Council entreats all candidates to mandatory wear a nose/face mask before, during and after each paper.
For maximum protection, all candidates are to follow the recommended COVID-19 protocols which include the washing of hands, use of alcohol-based hand sanitizers, and observance of social distance.
According to the National Teaching Council, the March 2020 GTLE papers are scheduled as follow

• The first paper shall start at exactly 8:30 am
The Teaching Council entreats candidates to mandatory to check their centres and report on time on Sunday, June 21.
