According to data on the Ghana Health Service website, a total of 5638 persons have tested positive for coronavirus while 1460 have reportedly recovered and 28 pronounced dead.
The real time update indicates that Ghana’s recoveries of coronavirus cases has suddenly increased so as the number of confirmed cases and unfortunately the death toll.
Additionally, Greater Accra region still remains Ghana’s coronavirus leader with a total of 4,428 cases which is half of the nation’s confirm cases followed by Greater Kumasi with 798 reported cases.
Oti region and Upper East region has the least number of cases recorded, they both have 26 cases.
According to data analysis of gender distribution males are most infected with the virus than females, it says 62 percent of males have contracted the disease while 38 percent are females.
