The novel coronavirus (COVID-19) now a pandemic has killed 10 more persons bringing Ghana’s coronavirus death toll to 95 as of Tuesday, June 23, the Ghana Health Service has reported.
The Director-General of the Ghana Health Service, Dr. Patrick Kuma-Aboagye announced these new updates Tuesday, June 23, addressing the press in Accra.
The Director-General added that fortunately 434 persons have also been discharged per the new discharge protocol.
This new development means 10,907 persons have recovered from the deadly virus and had been discharged.
Currently, the coronavirus active case in Ghana stands at 3,566.
“We have so far following the review recorded 95 deaths. Currently, we have 24 severe cases across the country and six cases are critical and five persons are currently on ventilators,” he said.
“We have a total of 414 new cases reported from 25 districts across the country and three regions. Which is that about 13 regions did not record any new case yesterday,” he added.
