Every count the number of coronavirus cases in Ghana doubles, recently the nation had 53 confirmed cases, as of now reports say Ghana’s coronavirus cases have risen to 68 with 2 deaths.
According to the Ghana Health Service, the subsequent cases recorded are due to the mass mandatory quarantine and compulsory testing for all incoming travelers to Ghana as directed by President Akufo-Addo.
It added that all the 68 infected victims are being managed in isolation and under treatment.
The Ghana Health Service added that a total of 1,030 persons have been quarantined.
Among the 1,030 guarantees, samples from 863 of them been tested with 38 confirmed to be positive.
The majority of the confirmed cases are said to be Ghanaians, on return from affected countries while 7 are of other nationalities namely: Norway, Lebanon, China, and the UK.
