The Ghana National Council of private schools (GNACOPS) in collaboration with P2S Ghana Limited as part of efforts to curb and slow the spread of the novel coronavirus has sourced the best quality effective infrared thermometers to help all institutions reopening school on Monday.
The infrared thermometer is purposely used to measure the temperature of the human body without necessarily touching any part of the body, especially in this coronavirus season.
According to GNACOPS, their infrared thermometer provides accurate measurement of body temperature and also very convenient as compared to the traditional mercury thermometer. Additionally they are compact, lightweight, and easy to use.
The infrared thermometer is also fast and provides accurate temperature readings easy to read and very hygienic.
The Council advises that temperature measurements should be taken from a distance and avoid close contact.
According to the sole distributors they have drastically reduced the price of the effective COVID-19 testing thermometer to GHC395.00, half of the market price.
Nationwide distribution commenced on Monday, June 8, 2020, and can be purchased also at all GNACOPS regional offices and the National secretariat at Atomic Energy Commission.
