The government has called on various political parties in Ghana to support measures to curb the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) in the country and not politicize the matter.
As at now, confirmed coronavirus cases in Ghana has increased from the minimum 68 to a maximum of 132 with 3 death recorded, the Ghana Health Service announced today.
The Health Service also disclosed that the majority of the infected victims are Ghanaians who have arrived from countries proven to be positive with the virus while less are those from foreign countries.
The Information Minister Kojo Oppong Nkrumah explains the need for the various parties to support fight the deadly pandemic at a sensitization workshop for Political parties in Accra.
The meeting was attended by representatives from the NPP, NDC, CPP, NDP and the LPG.
