Following the awaiting President’s address to the nation, Lawyer Tweneboa Kodua popularly called (T.K.) in a discussion on Accra based radio station Okay FM, alleged that President Akufo-Addo is ready to ease COVID-19 restrictions and might also reopen schools while having isolation centres set up in all schools throughout the country.
The Lawyer’s statement remains unconfirmed as it is alleged, according to the UTV Adekye Nsroma’s host the isolation centres will serve as a centre for treatment should any students show signs and symptoms of COVID-19.
Some parents and students have expressed joy on various social media platforms if such is the plan taken by President Akufo-Addo with the possible reopening of schools.
According to some parents, children presence at home has significantly stressed their financials, and hence would appreciate the relief.
As of now Ghana’s coronavirus (COVID-19) cases are 7,881 with 2,841 recoveries and 36 deaths.
